Description

I guess I forgot to upload this one last year before my long time away... woops!

If anyone remembers the Spirits designs I did for Mana, this was the unique run for CT. I came up with the idea for these solo pictures to represent the character's "essence", in the beginning it was going to just be myself but after talking with my brother I ended up spreading it out to other artists to get a wide range of style. I took Marle so of course it's all about ice and Leene's Bell. :)

Hiya - :iconprojectcomment: member here.

I really like how you've used the colour blue throughout this piece  everything from the electric blue of the girls's eye, the bright blue of the snowflake and the cold steel blue of the ice all come together well to add a good feeling to this. Even the jewel on her pendant necklace. Also, I love the cheeky expression that she's expressing, with that wink and her tongue playfully stuck out, because to me it breaks away from the pose that she is in which looks to be quite a serious one. The little details that you've done on the girl are a nice touch too; the random strands of hair poking out from her hairline, her shoulder bag and the chain around her thigh are all good and add more interest to the piece. Good job! :)

One tiny thing that I noticed though, is that her left eye (right to the viewer) is too far from her nose so it makes her overall face look a little off in my opinion, but a way to fix this would be to move this closer in so there's less distance. And I know full-well how much foreshortening can be a pain, through personal experience, but her hand that's stretching towards us is too small so it needs to be a little bigger so as to look more 'as it should do'. However, with all that being said I think you've done well with this; keep up the good work! :D
